At Water Country, we do not provide towels free of charge to guests. However, The Seacoast Surf Supply Co. does have towels for purchase.

Your safety is our top priority at Water Country. For that reason, the operation of any or all attractions may be temporarily suspended due to severe weather conditions. Once conditions have improved, normal operations will resume.

Rain checks will be available upon request to Guests exiting the park if all attractions have been closed for at least 60 minutes. Guests must provide a same-day ticket stub and receipt at Guest Relations in order to obtain a rain check before exiting the park, the same day of the early closure. If the park closes for inclement weather three hours prior to the posted daily closing time, a twilight rain check will be issued for a return visit. No rain checks are issued for season passholders or guests with complimentary tickets. Rain checks will not be provided if the park closes within 1 hour of our published closing time. CASH REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN. Once attractions reopen following a temporary closure due to weather, rain checks will no longer be offered.

Preferred parking is available for $25 per day. It is located in the paved lot near the main entrance and available on a first come, first served basis. All other parking is $10 per day if purchased at the park, or just $5 if purchased online! Guests can purchase a General Parking Season Pass valid for the whole summer for just $25; it does not include parking in the Preferred Lot.

Water Country accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards at any ticket entrance and most permanent food locations. American Express holders must present a government issued ID with card during transaction. Admission tickets, Season Passes and Cabanas are also available for purchase online. There is an ATM located in the Seacoast Surf Supply Co. gift shop.

Any complimentary, promotional, or trade tickets are valid for General Admission only in the season they were issued. These tickets expire at the end of the season they were printed in, and may not be upgraded to a Season Pass. CLICK HERE for examples of expired tickets.

Single day General Admission and Consignment tickets from previous years can be upgraded for a current ticket at the Guest Services office. You will be responsible for paying any difference in price from the value of the old ticket to the current price of the same ticket. Pricing information can be obtained at Guest Relations.

Children 3 years of age or under are admitted free of charge.

You may choose to bring your own lunch into the park, however we ask that you reduce the amount of items to just 1 lunch bag or cooler (24”X 16” or smaller). Please no large trays, chafing dishes, crockpots, etc. You may leave these larger items in your vehicle and go to/from your car as needed if some items are easier left outside the park gates.

For the safety of all our guests no glass, sharp items, knives of any kind, alcohol, or BBQ equipment will be permitted. All bags and coolers are be searched upon entry. Water Country has excellent snack bars and locations serving Pizza, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Fingers and Sandwiches, Fried Dough, Sausage and Steak Subs, Fries, Ice Cream, Dippin' Dots (the ice cream of the future!) and lots of other goodies.

Yes, an admission ticket is required to enter the park. Don't worry, besides the thrills and chills of the waterslides, there are less daring attractions like the Wave Pool and Whirlpool. For guests with special needs, please visit our Guest Relations office upon your arrival. They will share which rides and attractions are appropriate for your abilities and will help you make the most of your visit.

June is always a great time to visit us we are usually slower at the beginning of our season. If you visit in July or August, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday are traditionally slower. Also, be aware that crowds are quite weather dependent. We will be busier on hotter summer days.

If you forget something at home, please check our Gift Shop first! The Seacoast Surf Supply Co. features swimsuits and sunglasses along with beach towels, swim diapers, sunscreen, waterproof phone pouches, and batteries, just to name a few items.

Yes. Most of our attractions have a height requirement to participate. These requirements can be found on the Attractions page of our website. The requirements are also on signs at the entrance of each ride.

Water Country allows Guests to rent Life Jackets on a First Come, First Serve basis. If you have a U.S. Coast Guard approved lifejacket of your own, that your child is comfortable with, we recommend that you bring it.

Water Country offers these exclusive children's areas; Tahiti Treehouse, Big Ollie, Bubble Bay, and Pirate’s Lagoon. There are other attractions without height requirements for family enjoyment.

No alcoholic beverages of any sort may be brought into the park. Water Country is a smoke-free facility.

Please designate a specific meeting spot and/or check-in times for your group should anyone get separated. Water Country will not page separated parties.

Should you become separated from your party, make arrangements to meet at Guest Services, located directly inside the Main Entrance. If you need assistance finding your child, please contact Guest Services or any Water Country Team Member.

Water Country lifeguards must pass very rigorous training to become certified. Additionally, our First Aid station is staffed with Emergency Medical Technicians. Parents are urged to teach children safe water skills and read safety information located at the front of each attraction.

The First Aid office is located across from the Adventure River and next to the Rental’s Pavilion. Please notify any Water Country employee if you or a member of your party is in need of First Aid, or go to Guest Services which is located in the front of park.

There are many shaded areas located throughout the park. Lounge chairs and picnic tables are available, on a first come, first serve basis. You can also choose to rent one of our various types of luxurious and private cabanas for the day. It is always a good idea to wear sunscreen at Water Country, whether in the shade or direct sun.

Eyeglasses must have a strap on them to wear down the rides. Straps are available for purchase the Seacoast Surf Supply Co. gift shop. Goggles are not permitted for use on any ride; Masks are not permitted. Footwear of any kind (this includes water shoes) is not permitted on any tube ride or body slide with the exception of Thunder Falls and Wild Canyon. Footwear is permitted in any pool.

There are several restrooms throughout the park with room to change. There is a Women's changing station, and outdoor showers located near the front of the park across from the Adventure River.

Lockers are available for rent inside the Park.

Children under 13 years of age are not allowed at the Park without adult supervision. Regardless, we strongly suggest that minors under the age of 18 be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Water Country is happy to donate park tickets to qualified non-profit organizations in order to assist their fund-raising efforts. Water Country requires all donation requests to be made via e-mail, please include the date and time of the event, the beneficiary and any other relevant details.

On December 19th 2008, the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act went into effect. This new law requires VGB Compliant Pool Drain Grates. We are VGB Compliant but please note in some applications these grates have a raised profile off the floor as mandated by the Law. Warning: Raised Grate All of our raised grates have a red circle highlighting their location. They are designed to be stepped on but in shallow water situations they may pose a tripping hazard.
