What is the Weather Policy at Water Country?
Your safety is our top priority at Water Country. For that reason, the operation of any or all attractions may be temporarily suspended due to severe weather conditions. Once conditions have improved, normal operations will resume.
Rain checks will be available upon request to Guests exiting the park if all attractions have been closed for at least 60 minutes. Guests must provide a same-day ticket stub and receipt at Guest Relations in order to obtain a rain check before exiting the park same day of early closure. No rain checks are issued for season pass holders. Rain checks will not be provided if the park closes within 1 hour of our published closing time. CASH REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN. Once attractions reopen following a temporary closure due to weather, rain checks will no longer be offered.
How much is parking?
Preferred parking is available for $15 per day, it is located in the paved lot near the main entrance and available on a first come, first served basis. All other parking is $5 per day. Season Pass Holders have the option to pay $20 for the Season Pass Parking Pass that is valid the whole summer it is issued in; however it does not include parking in the Preferred Lots which is an additional fee.
How can I pay for admission, food, and souvenirs?
Water Country accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards at any ticket entrance and most permanent food locations. American Express holders must present a government issued ID with card during transaction. Admission tickets, Season Passes and Cabanas are also available to purchase online. There is an ATM located in the Seacoast Surf Supply Co. gift shop.
Can I use my park ticket that I did not use last year?
Any complimentary, promotional, or trade tickets are valid for General Admission only in the season they were issued. These tickets expire at the end of the season they were printed in and may not be redeemed for park admission or upgraded. CLICK HERE for examples of expired tickets.
Single day General Admission and Consignment tickets from previous years can be upgraded for a current ticket at the Guest Services office. You will be responsible for paying any difference in price from the value of the old ticket to the current price of the same ticket. Pricing information can be obtained at Guest Relations.
What is the cost of a ticket for a child 2 years or younger?
Children 2 years of age or under are admitted free of charge.
Can I bring in my own food and drinks?
You may choose to bring your own lunch to Water Country, but please no glass, sharp items, knives of any kind, alcohol, or BBQ equipment. All bags and coolers will be searched upon entry. Water Country also has excellent snack bars and satellite stations serving Pizza, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Fingers and Sandwiches, Fried Dough, Sausage and Steak Subs, Fries, Ice Cream, Dippin' Dots (the ice cream of the future!) and lots of other goodies.
Do I still have to pay if I'm not going to get in the water?
Yes, an admission ticket is required to enter the park. Don't worry, besides the thrills and chills of the waterslides, there are less daring attractions like the Wave Pool and Whirlpool. For guests with special needs, please visit our Guest Relations office upon your arrival. They will share which rides and attractions are appropriate for your abilities and will help you make the most of your visit.

When is the best time to visit Water Country?
June is always a great time to visit us we are usually slower at the beginning of our season. If you visit in July or August, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday are traditionally slower. Also, be aware that crowds are quite weather dependent. We will be busier on hotter summer days.
What if I forget something at home?
If you forget something at home, please check our Gift Shops first! Seacoast Surf Supply features swimsuits and sunglasses along with beach towels, swim diapers, sunscreen, film, and batteries, just to name a few items. Some smaller sundries are also available at the Hula Hut.
Are there height requirements for any of the rides?
Yes. Most of our attractions have a height requirement to participate. These requirements can be found on the Attractions page of our website. The requirements are also on signs at the entrance of each ride.
Do you have life jackets and where can I get one?
Water Country allows Guests to rent Life Jackets on a First Come…First Serve basis. If you have a Coast Guard certified lifejacket of your own, that your child is comfortable with, we recommend that you bring it.
Where are the best places to go with a toddler?
Water Country offers three exclusive children's areas; Tahiti Treehouse, Big Ollie, Bubble Bay, and Pirate’s Lagoon and there are other attractions without height requirements for family enjoyment.
Do you allow smoking or alcoholic beverages?
No alcoholic beverages of any sort may be brought into the park. Water Country is a non-smoking facility.
What if my party gets separated?
Please designate a specific meeting spot and/or check-in times for your group should anyone get separated. Water Country will not page separated parties.
Who should Lost Parents report to?
Should you become separated from your party, make arrangements to meet at Guest Services, located directly inside the Main Entrance. If you need assistance finding your child, please contact Guest Services or any Water Country Team Member.
What about water safety?
Water Country lifeguards must pass very rigorous training to become certified. In addition, our First Aid station is staffed with emergency medical technicians. Parents are urged to teach children safe water skills and read safety information located at the front of each attraction.
Where is the First Aid Station?
Please notify any Water Country employee for first aid, or go to Guest Services which is located in the front of park. The first aid office is located across from the Adventure River and next to the Rental’s Pavilion.
Is there shade?
There are many shaded areas located throughout the park. Lounge chairs and picnic tables are available, on a first come, first serve basis. You can also choose to rent one of our various types of luxurious and private cabana(s) for the day. It is always a good idea to wear sunscreen at Water Country, whether in the shade or direct sun.
Can I wear eyeglasses, goggles, or shoes on the slides?
Eyeglasses must have a strap on them to wear down the rides. Straps are available for purchase at the Hula Hut or in the Seacoast Surf Supply Co. gift shop. Goggles are not permitted for use on any ride; Masks are not permitted. Footwear of any kind (this includes water shoes) is not permitted on any tube ride or body slide with the exception of Thunder Falls and Wild Canyon. Footwear is permitted in any pool.
Do you have changing facilities?
There are several restrooms throughout the park. There are outdoor showers located near the front of the park across from the Adventure River.
What about my valuables?
Lockers are available for rent inside the Park.

What is your chaperone policy?
Children under 13 years of age are not allowed at the Park without adult supervision. Regardless, we strongly suggest that minors under the age of 18 be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. How can I make a request for a ticket donation?
Water Country is happy to donate park tickets to qualified non-profit organizations in order to assist their fund-raising efforts. Water Country requires all donation requests to be made via e-mail, please include the date and time of the event, the beneficiary and any other relevant details.
