Water Country Water Park, located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is New England’s Largest Water Park. Water Country offers 19 attractions that are perfect for all ages, including classics like the Giant Wave Pool and Adventure River. Celebrating over 30 years, Water Country is 26 acers of family-filled, summer fun featuring water rides fit tiny tots such as Tahiti Treehouse and Pirates Lagoon and thrilling water slides for fit for teens like Dragon’s Den and Dr. Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror.

Influencer Program

Water Country welcomes influencers with unique followings across all social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Influencer offerings and giveaways in exchange for content creation, infeed posts and stories are negotiable through our public relations department. Water Country also offers a competitive discount program, offering influencers and their followers a unique promo code. The promo code provides influencers and their followers with an exclusive discount on park admission throughout the season. First Aid

First Aid stations are located across from the Adventure River near the Rentals Pavilion, as well as near Pirate's Lagoon.

All of our First Aid stations are staffed with licensced NH EMTs. They cannot administer most common medications, but we do have select medications available for sale in the Gift Shop.

Wheel chair use for the day is at a first-come-first-serve basis. Just check in with Guest Relations when you arrive at the park! This is a free service; we just ask that you have your ID on hand. 

Bag Check

To ensure the highest level of safety and satisfaction for all of our guests, Water Country inspects all bags and items brought into the waterpark. No weapons, knives or sharp objects are allowed on Water Country property. Glass containers, alcohol, fireworks or sparklers, or grills are not permitted as well. Please leave valuables at home or secure them in a locker. Water Country is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

For the safety of our guests we do not permit some items to be brought into the park, this includes, but is not limited to, hammocks, unsecured umbrellas or shade structures, body boards, any glass items including those for food, storage, personal tubes or rafts, perfume or cologne bottles, or any sharp objects. Please contact Guest Relations (603.427.1112 ext 0) prior to visiting the park if you have questions about any items you wish to bring to the park.

Dress Code & Code of Conduct

Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in ejection from the waterpark without refund.

  • Swimwear must be secure, fit appropriately, and ensure full coverage.
  • No long pants or cut-off shorts, that are not swimsuit material, permitted on any attractions.
  • No clothing with offensive language, obscene gestures/graphics/nudity or clothing that does not sufficiently cover undergarments.
  • Displayed tattoos must be in good taste and not offensive to our family environment.
  • No loitering, unruly behavior, profanity, vandalism, line cutting, alcohol or drugs, including marijuana. 
  • No Fighting or physical aggression of any kind, including verbal and physical assaults.
  • Children in diapers and those being toilet trained must wear an approved swim pant (available in our retail stores) while in the water.

Donation Requests

Water Country is happy to donate park tickets to qualified non-profit organizations in order to assist their fund-raising efforts.
Water Country requires all donation requests to be made in writing via mail (address listed below) or fax (603-427-6644) - Attention: Donation Requests: wcdonations@palaceentertainment.com

Valid Organizations:

  • Local schools (K-12) raising funds for events/activities that impact a majority of the student body
  • Local youth sports/sporting events that charge minimal participation fees
  • Local library summer reading programs
  • Church/youth/scholarship programs
  • Organizations raising funds for other charities

The written request must appear on official letterhead from the organization making the request – including a valid tax-exempt number and should include the name of the event, date, location, response deadline and a specific description of who will benefit from the proceeds raised. The name of the contact person and/or your name should also be listed somewhere on the letter.

**Due to the ever-increasing volume of donation requests, Water Country is now placing a distance limit on the requests we will consider. Groups and organizations outside of a 35 mile radius of Portsmouth, New Hampshire (03801) will not be eligible for consideration. If you are beyond the 35 mile radius and currently have us listed on a contact/mailing list, we respectfully ask you to remove our name.

Explanation of this policy is not a promise of a donation. If it is determined that we are able to help, the tickets will be sent to the address listed on the written request, to the attention of the contact person. Because of the large volume of requests received, we regret that are unable to reply to those we are not able to assist.
