It’s always a great time to visit us here at Water Country! If you’re looking for some helpful Pro Tips, though, June is one of the best times to visit seeing as it’s usually less crowded. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays tend to be slower throughout the season, as well – especially during the busier months of July and August! Take note also that crowd levels may change depending on the weather no matter the month; and the sunnier the day, the bigger the crowds tend to be.

If you forget to bring something, don’t worry, our Seacoast Surf Supply Co. is here to help! With swimsuits, sunglasses, beach towels, swim diapers, sunscreen, waterproof phone pouches, batteries, and more, we can supply most everyday items you may need.
With a family’s worth of valuables to carry, not to mention great souvenirs and gifts, we know you’ll need a place to store your things! Lockers are always available for rent inside the park, letting you take a load off your shoulders, and kick back and relax worry-free.
For everyone’s safety, and the security of our attractions, eyeglasses must have a strap on them if you choose to wear them while going down our slides. Straps are always available for purchase at the Seacoast Surf Supply Co., so don’t worry if you forgot yours at home! Goggles and masks, however, are not allowed on the slides under any circumstances, in order to ensure everyone’s safety. Likewise, footwear of any kind, including water shoes, is not permitted on any tube ride or body slide. However, Thunder Falls and Wild Canyon is an exception to this rule, and footwear is permitted in any pool.
You’ll find our Calendar and Hours page with all the info on operating dates and times to help you pick the best day for your family. A helpful note to keep in mind: early summer is less crowded, and hours can differ in late August and early September.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards are all accepted, so there are always plenty of ways to pay at the ticket booth and most food locations. Please keep in mind American Express holders must present a government-issued ID with their card to complete their transaction. To help you save time, Admission tickets, Season Passes, and Cabanas are available for advanced purchase online. Water Country has gone cashless! There are three Cash to Card Kiosk located throughout the park at the Main Entrance Admissions Booths, Seacoast Surf Supply Gift Shop, and Group Entrance Locker Pavilion.
To ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and employees and improve guest experience at the park, we ask you reduce the amount of items to just one lunch bag or cooler no bigger than 16” x 16”. Additionally, we politely request you leave larger items such as trays, chafing dishes, grills, and crockpots in your vehicle. However, you are always welcome to go to and from your car as needed and picnic tables are conveniently located in the parking lot. As an additional safety measure, no glass, sharp items, knives of any kind, alcohol, or BBQ equipment is permitted at any time. Please also keep in mind that all bags and coolers will be searched upon entry.
Here at Water Country we will never compromise your safety, especially in regards to severe weather, by continuing normal operations in unsafe conditions. However, we’re committed to providing you with the best experience possible, so we will do our best to reopen our attractions as soon as the severe weather has passed.
If all attractions have been closed at least 60 minutes, we will offer rain checks upon request to all guests exiting the park. As long as you present your same-day ticket stub and receipt at Guest Relations, you will receive your rain check, ensuring future fun for all! However, please keep in mind no rain checks are issued for Season Passholders, as well as guests with complimentary tickets. Also, rain checks will not be provided if the disturbance of operations occurs within the final hour before the park’s regular closing time. We apologize, but cash refunds are not available; however, if attractions reopen after a temporary closure, you may resume your fun that very same day!
With four entire attractions dedicated to children, Water Country is the best family-friendly water destination in the Northeast! From Tahiti Treehouse to Happy Harbor, Bubble Bay to Pirate’s Lagoon, there’s sure to be a special spot for even your youngest swimmer. Pro tip: there are also additional attractions without height requirements, such as our rivers and pools, promising safe and fun family fun for all!
Here at Water Country, we prioritize family fun and safety above everything else. Therefore, no alcoholic beverages of any kind may be brought into the park, and our park has designated smoking areas.
For a spot in the paved lot right near the main entrance, preferred parking is available for $30. All other general parking is $25 a day, but you can save $5 on general parking when you buy ahead online.
