Water Country Hiring 300 Hosts for 2026 Season

Water Country is Offering Unique Perks, Flexible Schedules and Pay Rates up to $20 Per Hour

Portsmouth, NH [April 21, 2026] – New England’s Largest Water Park, Water Country Water Park is gearing up for its 2026 season and has kicked off hiring park hosts across all positions. = The park is currently seeking nearly 300 hosts to join the team ahead of the park’s Opening Day, Saturday June 6.

“We pride ourselves on being an employer of choice for the youth of the Seacoast,” said Assistant General Manager, Kathryn Nedelka. “We have several who’s very first job was working right here at the park, starting as young as 14. Each season, we see several of these hosts develop their skills and confidence, growing into different roles and remaining here for several summer seasons.”

Hosts at Water Country will enjoy a variety of employee perks including pay rates up to $20 per hour, free admission to more than eight different amusement parks and attractions in the region, free tickets for friends and family, flexible schedules, on-site training, after hours exclusive host events, and so much more.

The park is currently hiring across all positions including lifeguards, security, maintenance, and more. Those ages 14 and up are eligible for employment at the park with opportunities for people of all ages whether they are looking for their first job, are returning for another year of fun or want to stay busy part time during the summer. At Water Country, hosts gain hands-on experience and develop lifelong skills to carry with them long after the summer is over.

The park is kicking off its 2026 lifeguard training classes this month in anticipation of a fun summer ahead. Those looking for a specific position are encouraged to apply online starting now to learn more about open positions, the training process, and employment.

Water Country opens for the 2026 season on Saturday, June 6, with a full calendar of family-friendly events including Father’s Day Flop, Celebrate America Week, and Kids Fest.
